But that´s exactly what Chris at Mojacar´s Jolly Lemon has done. But where has the Jolly Lemon flourished where so many others have failed ? The answer is hard work and innovation by Chris and his team. For example, after years as The Jolly Lemon, Chris decided to shake things up and redesigned his premises and created the Ramo del Limón and the Lemon Lounge, taking the best aspects of the Jolly Lemon and upgrading and improving them to create a unique dual purpose venue where you can enjoy fine dining and the cosy atmosphere of your favourite bar together. Diners at the Ramo del Limón can choose from a mouthwatering variety of dishes, each prepared to the highest standards and with the finest ingredients in surroundings which are always classy but never overbearing. But if a drink and a chat is more to your liking then you can just pop across the terrace to relax in the welcoming atmosphere of the Lemon Lounge. And as summer arrives Chris is introducing even more new ideas. For example chef Katy is creating a midweek Ramo Roast with a difference – taking the traditional roast and giving it a surprising twist. And on Saturdays the Ramo del Limón is hosting themed barbeque evenings – again giving the traditional barbeque an unusual twist which is guaranteed to exite even the most jaded palate. Where other premises struggle to combine a traditional bar with a specialist dining area, Chris has proved that with a little imagination it is possible to achieve this in a complimentary fashion which allows each area to flourish.
