A BIT ABOUT ME, JACKY

I qualified as a masseuse in 1989 after studying anatomy, physiology and massage. I enjoyed learning this fascinating subject so much that I went on to train as a teacher and counsellor. I have continued studying new treatments and therapies so I can offer an extensive range of treatments to clients.
I established the College of Massage in 1993 teaching certificated ITEC courses in Anatomy, Physiology and Massage, Aromatherapy and Diet and Nutrition as well as specialist courses in advanced massage skills, massage during pregnancy and for babies, working with people who have mental and physical difficulties and rehabilitation for common ailments for the elderly. I was also instrumental in setting up a comprehensive complimentary therapies programme at my local college that I continued to teach on until July 2001.
Teaching Diet and Nutrition opened my eyes to the effects of pollution, radiation and poor water quality on our food supply and this combined with the stress of working in the 'rat race' in London convinced me change was needed - so here I am in this lovely place with my daughter Ruby and husband Jegs.
I look forward to meeting you and helping to improve your well-being and quality of life.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU COME FOR A MASSAGE

Your first appointment will include a full consultation, asking you some questions about your general health to exclude any contra-indications to the treatment you are about to receive and also to apply the right technique for your needs.
Therapeutic/Deep Tissue/Remedial/Sports and Aromatherapy Massage are applied on the skin using oils.
You will be asked to undress leaving your underwear on. Good towel techniques assure you will be covered at all times, exposing only the part of the body being worked on.
